ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have little experience in nude photography. When I was in my first year of university my friend's nudes were seen by all her classmates, she was treated badly by her boyfriend. I found something attractive in the exchange of nudes between partners, but I was afraid to take explicit photos and send them to someone after my friend's bad experience. I find this project interesting to overcome my past fears. It is worth considering that beauty and perception of art is largely subjective and depends on personal preferences. I see nude photography as beautiful art that expresses the aesthetics of the human body, its shapes, light and shadows. Such works can reflect the emotions, creativity and experimentation of the creators. For me, creating nude photos is a way to reflect body confidence, sexuality, eroticism and self-expression. It can help you feel more free and embrace your unique individuality.
