ARTISTS STATEMENT

If there's one thing I adore, it's being naked. It makes me feel free, sensual and human. As I've gotten a little older I've learnt to love myself and my body. The scars, the moles, my smaller boobs, my long toe (damn my mother's genes). Spreading body positivity is so important, I feel especially for young women. When I was a little younger I was constantly comparing myself to other women who had been airbrushed or made to look 'flawless' and really struggled with loving myself. This project gives me the opportunity to spread love and understanding that we are not airbrushed, we are not perfect, we are human beings. Beautiful, sexy, powerful, artistic forms of nature. I've become really accepting of myself in the past few years, who I am and what I am. A human being flying through the universe on planet Earth and I embrace being naked and the sheer nakedness that it is.

Books I like: Tales of an Ordinary Madness - short stories by Bukowski. If you haven't read any, you should!
Films I like: Oh Brother! Where Art Thou? or any Cohen brothers films for that matter. Blue is the Warmest Colour is also an awesome film
